Hi, there!
Kristen, I'm so excited to see you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few, short weeks. And with a
little one in tow! I'm sure you're counting down the days until your family is busy making magical memories together.
You are going to love your stay at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The nods to popular culture throughout the resort are super fun, and the renovated rooms offer lots of space with just the right touch of character (Disney Character, that is!).
To answer your question, it's certainly fine to take a small baby sun tent that can be placed on the ground to one of the
pools at Disney's Pop Century Resort. I always take my stroller with us when my family heads to our resort hotel's pool. It provides a great place to store snacks, drinks, and sunscreen, but it also makes for a perfectly shaded spot for my little one to rest! If your stroller has an extra-large UV 50+ sun canopy like mine does, you may find it more convenient to take to the pool than the sun tent. If you are referring to a sun tent that's attached to an infant flotation device, that's a-ok to bring along to the pool too! Just
be sure that it's a US Coast Guard/UL approved flotation device.
Did you know that
complimentary cribs are available for Guests of Disney Resort hotels? Most are actually standard-sized Pack 'n Play playards, but larger cribs are sometimes available. Quantities are limited, so I recommend requesting a crib ahead of your arrival if you'll need one. To make the request, simply call the Resort Team at (407) 939-1936. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to add the request to your upcoming reservation!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kristen. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
