We are bring our RV for our Disney World (Orlando) trip I need a map showing the numbered RV spots. Also want to know the difference in amenities (cost) of the different RV sites (we definitely want water, sewer and electricity. Dining plan options?

Hi Virginia!  My husband and I spend many weeks in Fort Wilderness with our own motor coach. We started doing this a few years ago so we could bring our best buds, our dogs.

We love Fort Wilderness and all the amenities it offers to its guests. There are indeed numerous loops offering a variety of different surroundings and location. Unfortunately, there really are not any maps that will show the exact sites in the loops. The best you can do is to request perhaps a certain loop but not a particular site unless you have stayed there in the past and have a few in mind. When you call please make sure they know what length your RV is, how many slide outs, and if you have pets. You can request something close to a comfort station or one that has easy access to back into it. All RV's will back into their sites.

There are four different type of loops offered to the guests: Partial, Full, Preferred, and Premium. The Partial loops are designated for campers with tents or small pop ups and will not have sewer hookups. All other sites will have water, power, sewer, and cable service. Full sites are located the furthest distance from amenities, Preferred sites are closest to the marina end of the resort but have smaller concrete pads, and Premium have long pads and best for the "big rigs". All sites will have a picnic table and grill for your use. Prices can range from $49- to over $134 a night depending on season. There sometimes is an Annual Pass discount but these go quickly so they are hard to get.

Dining Plans are not offered to the camping guests at Fort Wilderness. The idea is that they will want to do a lot of their own cooking in their vehicles thus they don't need to take advantage of a dining package. Hope this gives you some general information about Fort Wilderness. If you are considering heading down that way be sure and get a reservation as soon as possible because it is a very popular resort and fills up quickly! Let me know if I can help more with your plans.
