Hi! How do I bring a reusable water bottle on the ship? In carry on or checked luggage?

    Welcome to planDisney Ellice!

Staying hydrated on your Disney Cruise is important, so your water bottle will come in handy! You may bring your water bottle in your carry-on or in your checked luggage. Just make sure it is empty. Otherwise, no worries!

If you plan to bring bottled water, then you must carry it onboard with you. It should be factory sealed.

Once on board, you will find some bottle filling stations as well as a beverages station near the pool deck where you may get water and ice. I suggest filling it up when leaving the ship for your port adventures. Some ports of call may be hot, so having your water bottle will be a great idea.

Chat with your stateroom host/hostess when you get to your stateroom. They will be happy to show you around your room and help you find the mini fridge if you want to keep anything chilled. They will also be happy to keep your ice bucket filled if you wish.

One quick reminder. When packing your carry-on, keep it light! Depending on when you board, you may have to carry around your bags for a while, so just the necessities (boarding papers, passport, ID, sunscreen, medication, and swimsuit if you want to hop in the pool right away!) Otherwise, put everything in your checked bags which will arrive outside your stateroom later in the afternoon.

Have fun packing for your magical cruise. Captains Mickey and Minnie cannot wait to SEA you real soon!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
