Can you bring your reusable water bottle with ice and water already full?

    Hi there, Michelle!

Welcome to planDisney. We're thrilled you've found your way to our magical corner of the internet. It brings us a lot of joy to share our Disneyland planning knowledge with fellow Guests to set them up for an unforgettable visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

With your visit just two days away, let's get right to it. I have some good news for you—yes, you can bring a reusable water bottle filled with water and ice into the parks! According to the park rules, Guests are allowed to bring food and nonalcoholic beverages for self-consumption into the parks as long as they are not in glass containers. If you are considering bringing in your own food, the rules further specify that the items should not need heating, reheating, processing, or refrigeration, or have strong odors.

On any particular park day, I am usually toting up to 4 reusable water bottles—one for each member of my family. You can easily find refillable water stations throughout both parks and can even identify these locations ahead of time in the Disneyland app. When you open the app, tap the magnifying glass icon and type "Bottle-Filling Stations". You'll see the option to "Find on Map", where all of the locations will be revealed. Additionally, Guests can ask for complimentary ice water at any quick service location, which can be used to fill up your water bottle or if you happen to have forgotten it at home.

If you're looking for a shady spot to take a break, one of my favorite places to take a moment out of the park hustle and bustle is the bridge between the Matterhorn and "it's a small world". You will find this quiet oasis just behind Edelweiss Snacks. This area is covered and out of the sun with plenty of tables and chairs. You can sit back, relax, and watch your fellow Guests head off to their next magical adventure. My go-to is to grab the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread from Edelweiss Snacks on my way to the shade!

Michelle, I hope this was helpful and you are off for a memorable visit this week! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
