Per the Disney Cruise Line website, heating pads are prohibited. Any items found in your luggage during the security and screening process that are deemed unsafe will be held at the port and may be retrieved at the end of your cruise. Please read through the entire list of
Prohibited & Restricted Items so you can breeze through security when arriving at the cruise port.
When
packing, make sure to pack plenty of cruise-casual clothes. Each ship has wonderful
self-service laundry facilities if you need to toss in a load of clothes if you run short. Do not worry about packing beach towels as you will find plenty of poolside towels as well as towel distribution at ports of call. Even if cruising during warm summer months, I like to pack a light jacket or sweater as it can get chilly in the dining rooms. And, of course, do not forget to pack your Mickey Mouse Ears!
