    Can I bring potable chair?

Hi there, Heejoon! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sharing your question and I’m happy to help you find the information you need.

Unfortunately, folding chairs are included on the Walt Disney World prohibited items list and are not allowed in any theme park, water park, or Disney Springs. They are also prohibited in the stadium, indoor venues, or at select outdoor events at ESPN Wide World of Sports. While the list of prohibited items—which you can find here—doesn’t specifically mention portable or collapsible chairs, it’s my understanding that all portable seating is prohibited to ensure guest safety.

I would suggest calling the Non-Reservation Questions line to speak with a friendly Cast Member if you have additional questions about the policy or your specific item.

There are a lot of great places to take a break at every Walt Disney World theme park. My family and I always end up enjoying our DOLE Whip and floats on the rock-shaped benches across from Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom. If you visit Animal Kingdom, then the Flame Tree Barbecue seating area will be one of your best relaxation spot options. Not only is it beautifully decorated and offers plenty of shade, but the views of Expedition Everest across the lake are magical.

Heejoon, I hope this information helps with your Walt Disney World vacation planning. Pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
