From one popcorn bucket connoisseur to another, welcome to planDisney, Emily! I'm glad you popped by. My family and I love
Disneyland Resort popcorn and popcorn buckets, so I was excited to see your question.
Emily, you can certainly bring your popcorn bucket on rides! Like a backpack, hats, and glasses, you'll want to make sure it's properly secured once seated. For my family, that usually means putting it into a backpack to prevent it from sliding around. On calmer rides, like
"it's a small world" or Pirates of the Caribbean, you can easily hold it on your lap. My
planDisney pal Susan recently almost lost a bag of souvenirs on
Indiana Jones™ Adventure, so I highly recommend holding on tight and putting your popcorn bucket in a larger bag that's easy to secure.
If you don't want to bring a backpack for your popcorn bucket, you might consider
renting a locker. They're conveniently located in the front of each theme park. Locker rentals currently start around $7 a day for the smallest size and it's awesome because it's good for the whole day. It would be the safest option to ensure your popcorn bucket doesn't get jostled!
Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for upcoming seasonal and special merchandise. The
Disneyland Resort has had an influx of
the cutest popcorn buckets recently. I snagged the Stitch Vampire Popcorn Bucket for my
pal Lizzie, and it is epic. Hopefully, there will be one that strikes your fancy, Emily!
Thanks again for visiting. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Hold on to your hats and glasses... and popcorn buckets, folks!
