Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Rachel. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next month! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.
You ask a great question about
your visit to the theme parks. The short answer is - you bet! As a mom of three, my park bag is filled to the brim with everything we may need for our pixie-dusted adventures. I pack water bottles, sunscreen, snacks, wipes, portable chargers, hand sanitizer, ponchos - you name it, I've got it! An absolute must-have for my park bag is a stash of gallon-sized resealable bags. They come in handy in lots of ways! I've used a resealable bag to store a change of clothes for my kids, divide up a box of popcorn, transport leftovers, and more. It's such a versatile item! So, yes, you may absolutely bring plastic bags to store your reusable straws. It is important to note that
plastic straws, specifically, are not permitted at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, so keep that in mind while you're packing your reusable straws.
Your visit is the perfect time to experience the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. With beautiful topiary displays, entertainment offerings, and creative outdoor kitchens, there's lots to see, do, and EAT! While you're packing your bags, take some time to watch (or listen to) the
planDisney Podcast Special Episode - MUST KNOW Tips & Tricks for EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. It's filled with (you guessed it!) tips and tricks you won't want to miss!
I hope this was helpful, Rachel. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
