Ahoy there, Donna, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re getting ready for a swashbuckling adventure on the Disney Wish this month, so I’d be more than happy to help you and your crew with your packing list.
As Yoda might say, happy you will be to hear that indeed, yes, you can bring these accessories onboard to aid in your amusement. It’s always wise to peruse the
list of prohibited items before finalizing your
cruise packing list, but in this case, three exceptions are allowed: store-bought light sabers, plastic toy "pirate" swords, and plastic store-bought toy "Mjolnir" hammers (Thor's hammer).
In fact, one of my biggest delights on my first cruise on the
Disney Wish was when they handed me a plastic star magic wand after stepping on the ship and hearing them announce my family’s name. You’ll also find some other fun costumes and accessories available for purchase in Mickey’s Mainsail to help you round out your daily looks.
Speaking of the perfect look, the Disney Wish is one of the ships that features the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Not only can little ones be transformed into a prince or princess, but if your itinerary features a
Pirate Night, the boutique will also offer Pirates League packages that day to transform scalawags with the perfect pirate makeover. I’ve also been known to stop by when the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training aren’t too busy attending to other royal subjects to ask for a sprinkle of pixie dust in my own hair.
Get ready to soar into hyperspace, Donna, because your upcoming cruise is going to be out of this world!. And if you think of any other help we can provide before you set sail, I hope you’ll find your way back to us here at
planDisney.
Fair Winds and High Seas,
Sami
