Ahoy, Judy, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. As you sound like a planner like me, I want to get to your question straight away.
While Disney Cruise Line does allow Guests to
bring a limited quantity of alcoholic beverages onboard with them, unfortunately, the only alcohol permitted is champagne, wine, or beer. I know that’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer, but you’ll find a number of
themed nightclubs and lounges to tickle your taste buds while onboard the
Disney Wish.
If you want to feel like you’ve been transported into a galaxy far, far away, then make time to sit in the
Hyperspace Lounge on Deck 3. Right next door, you’ll find
Nightingale’s and their famous signature cocktail, appropriately named “Sweet Nightingale”. This concoction is made up of gin, passion fruit, rosemary, and mint, but the most surprising thing about it is that you drink it out of a beautiful bird glass! (Unfortunately, you can’t take that home with you. Don’t ask me how I know.)
The Disney Wish also boasts some exclusive
Beverage Tastings, but make sure to sign up as soon as your
booking window opens because they do fill up quickly. Finally, you won’t have to look far on the pool deck to discover some delightful members of the Beverage Crew walking around to ask if you’d like something to drink while watching Funnel Vision above the pool. Although alcoholic beverages come at an additional cost, you’ll also find two complimentary beverage stations on either side of the pool.
I know this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Judy, but I hope it helps you plan accordingly for your upcoming trip. And if any other questions bubble up before embarkation day, don’t hesitate to visit us again here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
