Welcome to planDisney, Angie! Before you know it, you and your family will be rolling into the Most Magical Place on Earth for your vacation; I'm sure the excitement is building as you finalize all of your plans!
Guests are welcome to bring their own strollers and wheelchairs into the parks at Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind that there are some
restrictions and regulations for bringing personal strollers that you will want to review in advance of your trip.
If you decide you would rather rent than bring your own,
wheelchair rentals and
stroller rentals are available at each theme park, water park, and in Disney Springs, as well as rentals for
Electronic Conveyance Vehicles should you decide you'd rather something motorized. Disney even offers its Guests a preferred offsite provider, Scooter Bug, that can deliver your rentals directly to your Disney Resort hotel so they will be there for you when you arrive! Be sure to also take a look at the
services available for Guests with mobility disabilities so your wheelchair party will be prepared to access the magic.
Angie, before I let you go, since you'll be traveling with younger mouseketeers, I encourage you to check out the
Baby Care Centers before you arrive so you will know exactly where to head at each Theme Park should your little ones need a quiet space or a break from the heat. My panelist pals Jennifer and Brent recently
explored these areas in each of the parks and they are a great resource for parents of little ones, even offering essential items like diapers, wipes, and children's medications for purchase in the event you need some additional supplies during your visit!
I hope this helps you to plan for your visit, Angie, and I hope you have the best time making magical memories with your family! If you have any other vacation planning questions, feel free to come back and
let me know! You've got a friend in me, and I'd be happy to help again!
See you real soon,
Alison
