Hiya, Daniel!
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to hear that you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short weeks away and I am sure everyone in your travel party is getting excited as you finalize all the details before your arrival. I have great news for you, friend. You can absolutely bring your stroller to Walt Disney World Resort. Here's all you need to know about strolling along with a stroller in tow during your visit.
Guests are welcome to bring their own stroller to any of the theme parks. There are a
few guidelines to keep in mind when packing for your adventure. There are size regulations and strollers cannot be larger than 31” (79 cm) in width and 52” (132cm) in length. You can also bring your stroller on
Disney transportation throughout your stay. Pro tip: Strollers are often moved by Cast Members if they need to make a little extra space in the designated stroller areas, so bring along a bright scarf or ribbon to tie to your buggy. This will make it easy to spot when lined up alongside similar strollers.
Should you prefer to
rent a stroller to save a little extra packing space, you can do so inside any of the four theme parks. These strollers have recently been upgraded to an adorable Mickey Mouse theme and there are single and double options available. Strollers can be rented for a single day or for your entire stay for a discounted rate. You can pick up your stroller inside the park towards the entrance, and return it when you're done. And if you need to leave for a mid-day break or hop over to your next park, you can pick another stroller up at no additional cost. If you like the idea of renting, but prefer to take the stroller with you at the end of the day, check out
Disney's featured provider, ScooterBug. ScooterBug will drop your rental off at your resort and pick it up at the end of your stay.
Before signing off I want to mention the
Baby Care Centers at Walt Disney World Resort. If you are traveling with small children these cool and quiet spots offer a welcoming space to take a break. You can find a Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks. They offer feeding areas with highchairs, changing tables, rocking chairs, and everything you need to wind down with a little one. And if you arrive for a magical day only to find you left the diapers back at the hotel, Hakuna Matata. Baby Care Centers have on-site shops that carry all the supplies that make a diaper bag complete. This was a real lifesaver when my Ohana arrived at EPCOT during one of our adventures only to find our diapers were a monorail ride away.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
