I'm pleased to share that I checked Disney's Cruise Line
list of prohibited and restricted items and found that snorkel equipment isn't listed on there. This means you can bring your own snorkel gear onboard your
Disney Cruise to use at
Disney's Castaway Cay. Please know that the list does get updated regularly, so I recommend double checking it before you leave just to be safe.
Snorkel gear is also available for rent on the island if you prefer to conserve luggage space.
All that snorkeling is sure to work up an appetite, and lunch is served on the island at Cookies BBQ and Cookies Too BBQ on the family beaches and Hangar 98 at Serenity Bay. If you have a sweet tooth, grab a couple of the large chocolate chip cookies, head over to the soft serve ice cream and make yourself a DIY ice cream sandwich. Or, get yourself a cup of soda and make a soft serve float. Then you'll be fueled up so you can just keep swimming.
