Hi there, Monica!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about one of my favorite parts of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation - snacks!
You'll be happy to know that you are more than welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages into the Walt Disney World theme parks with you. Food and drinks can be carried in using a small cooler or backpack, and it is a wonderful way to save time and money! My family likes to pack our bags with small pre-packaged snack foods such as peanuts or trail mix, and you'll never find me without a supply of beef jerky when we're on-the-go! My youngest daughter can go from hungry to "hangry" in a matter of milliseconds, so I'm always ready with a quick snack to avoid a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde moment. Only happiness, no "hangriness" when we're in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Of course, we always seem to find a way to purchase a few special snacks along the way as well - my Disney trip wouldn't be complete without a Mickey Rice Krispy treat or two (or ten...)!
I encourage you to check out
Walt Disney World Resort's Park Rules and Regulations to make sure you follow all the most up-to-date rules when bringing items into the theme parks. For example, outside beverages are permitted, but not in glass bottles, and loose ice is not permitted in coolers. (Reusable ice packs are recommended to keep snacks cold.) Coolers and backpacks must be within the size limits listed to be allowed inside the theme parks.
I hope this helps with plans and preparations for an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please come back and visit us here at planDisney for tips and advice to help add a bit of extra magic to your trip!
