I bring my own scooter. I cannot sleep on a hard bed-  at pop century. As a scooter user, ii assume it better to stay at first bus stop resort. Can WDW provide a mattress topper? Are only FOFQ & PopC first stops?

Hi Barbara! Thank you for your questions about your upcoming vacation plans at Walt Disney World. I see that you have a couple of questions so I will try to address them to the best of my ability.

Disney does its best to have as comfortable accommodations as possible for their guests. Obviously there are some such as yourself who need softer bedding and then others who need something harder for their sleeping arrangements. If you feel you are not able to be comfortable on a Disney mattress there are a few suggestions. There are supply companies in the area you might be able to contact to see about rentals of a foam pad such as an egg crate mattress topper. Your best bet is to purchase a pillow top mattress cover or egg crate pad and have it shipped to the resort before your arrival. You will need to alert housekeeping that you are putting something of your own on the bed so they do not remove it during their cleaning.

Disney continues to try to keep resorts on their own bus transportation lines but even the Deluxe will often share to some degree. During certain times of the year they can alter the transportation and make extra stops of delete stops and make them direct. It is tough to assure you that any one resort will be a non stop direct route. The three All Star resorts have been known to share a route with Pop Century and Art of Animation trying to keep their own. But then you will find that the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk will sometimes share and even include the Swan and Dolphin on their route. Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness will sometimes share. So as you can see it is hard to say that any one resort will absolutely have their own direct line.  Please know that all buses at all resorts are capable of handling wheelchairs and scooters and will do what is needed for a comfortable and safe journey to and from the parks.

Hope this helps with your planning for your next Disney vacation!
