Can I bring my own reusable metal cutlery into the parks?

Hey Howdy Hey Naomi and welcome to planDisney!

Such a timely question with Disney unveiling their commitment to sustainability with the recent announcement of Disney Planet Possible! I love you are keeping the environment in mind as well and we all know that you can go through plastic utensils quickly in the parks with all the tasty treats Disney has to offer.

Per Disney Property Rules, you are not allowed to bring knives with you into the park but should be allowed to bring a metal spoon and fork with you. Even though Disney has also transitioned away from plastic straws, I always do tend to bring my own as well to help reduce my waste even further while in the parks.

Disney also has variations of reusable utensils in the parks as well for purchase. I have had the best and most consistent luck finding them in EPCOT during festivals as well as in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

I would also point you to Disney Parks Blog for the other recent announcement of Walt Disney World Resort expanding the development of their solar energy project. Disney continues to move to be one of the largest producers and consumers of solar energy in the state of Florida, how cool is that!

I hope this helps clear up some things for your next trip and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
