Hi, can I bring my own portable crib onto a Disney cruise? My baby sleeps well in this portable crib and I would prefer to use my own than the pack n play option. Also, is water available at the soda stations? Thanks, Esther

Hello, and welcome to planDisney, Esther.

Thank you for stopping by planDisney, we’re so glad you’re here with this excellent question. I remember the early days clearly, and all the planning involved to keep our little Mouseketeers happy and rested, Esther. Here is my best advice in preparation for your Disney Cruise Line vacation.

Disney Cruise Line may provide a Pack ‘n Play or a similar convertible crib upon request, for children under 35 inches tall when you fill out the Special Requests form via My Reservations when you are signed into your Disney account. A Pack ‘n Play or similar convertible crib is provided at no extra charge but is subject to availability, therefore, I would request one in advance of your sailing.

Esther, when I took a close look at the list of Disney Cruise Line – Prohibited Items, while a Pack ‘n Play or similar collapsible crib is not currently listed, this does not mean that bringing one onboard is allowed, therefore, my best advice is for you to contact Disney Cruise Line - Help Center at your earliest convenience for the final word.

Fountain water is available at the Disney Cruise Line – Beverage Stations on the pool decks 24 hours daily, and disposable cups are provided for your convenience. Water bottles are available for purchase via Cast Members onboard who periodically sell water bottle packages, or via Disney Cruise Line - Room Service for water for purchase to be delivered to your stateroom. I always order my water in advance of my sailing by signing into my Disney Cruise Line account and accessing my Onboard Gifts section.

    Tips:
Pack first-day essentials for your little one in a day bag. You are welcome to bring unopened baby food (not homemade) with you and are welcome to speak to your dining room serving team about a high chair, and requesting pureed food at dinner or through Disney Cruise Line’s – Room Service.

Your stateroom host, who typically stops by early on during your sailing, will be invaluable during your sailing and you can request a bottle warmer, disposable diaper unit, and even a portable crib.

Take a look at Disney Cruise Line’s – Traveling with Little Ones resource for tips in preparation for your sailing.

Esther, it was my pleasure assisting you today, please stop by planDisney again soon for more first-hand tips and advice, thank you!

    See Ya Real Soon!
