Can you bring your own light saber into Disney Parks? My son has a Saber Forge Lightsaber he would like to bring to Hollywood Studios.

    Bright Suns, Karen!

You, and your league of Jedi, are going to love Black Spire Outpost. Living my adventure in Batuu is always the highlight of my journeys to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After speaking before the Jedi Council, I was informed that your little Padawan is more than welcome to bring his lightsaber into the parks if it adheres to the Property Rules. As long as the particular saber he wields isn’t sharp at the end, you should be just fine!

I usually encourage people to bring lightsabers that can retract into the hilt for easy storage. However, as long as he is comfortable and able to stow his saber on the rides (or if you have a stroller to leave it in during attractions) you should be in the clear! I like bringing a small backpack in which to store my retracted lightsaber... But I always have to watch out for Ewoks! They are notorious for rifling through belongings! “Yub! Nub!”

Don’t forget to sign your Youngling up for Jedi Training Academy!

May the Force be with you. Always.
