Hi Barb!
It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. This is an awesome question because as the mom of two, I know how much big and little kids can eat during the day. I have found that one of the ways I can help all of the members of my family have a good day in the theme parks is to make sure no one's tummy gets too hungry. Plus, if I bring some snacks with us, it's a great way to save a little money for extra souvenEARs!
Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drink into the theme parks. Keep in mind that you cannot bring in outside alcohol and you also cannot bring glass containers into the theme park. Also, your backpack or cooler that you bring to carry your food and belongings cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Finally, loose ice is not permitted in the bags or coolers that you bring into theme parks, so I recommend that you plan on bringing re-usable ice packs to keep things cool. Be sure to check out the complete
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for additional information.
Keep in mind that you can always
rent a locker in the theme parks if you don't want to carry your backpack or cooler with you all day. Or, if you will have a stroller with you in the theme parks, you can use it to help you carry your belongings!
Come back to see us if we can help you again as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
