can you bring your own food into the parks?

    Hi there, Christal!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort. You are going to love all the classic experiences as well as new and exciting additions to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

I'm happy to inform you that you may bring food and beverages into the theme parks as long as they fit the guidelines set by the Park Rules. This means, for example, no alcoholic beverages, large coolers, or glass containers. With a toddler in tow, I always plan on bringing some small snacks or applesauce pouches for him. It's a great distraction for him when in line for attractions or between meals. If you plan on bringing more than just a snack, I recommend storing your food in the convenient lockers located in the esplanade between both parks. Right next to these lockers is a fantastic picnic area to enjoy your meal under the California sky.

Bringing your own food or snacks is a great way to budget and keep spending down. I also like to grab complimentary water cups from Quick Service restaurants to save money as well.

I hope this helps, and please feel free to return if you have any other questions about planning your magical vacation.
