Hello, Taressa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is less than a month away now. Are you getting excited? The countdown is on and the final plans are coming together. Let's help you get to all those last-minute details.
One of the things I really appreciate about Disney is the fact that they always seem to go out of their way to help Guests have the absolute best experience possible. For some families, that means bringing their own snacks along with them. It's perfectly acceptable for you to
bring food and drinks into the Theme Parks. While there isn't an itemized list of what you can bring, there are some items that aren't permitted. For example, you can't bring alcoholic beverages into the Theme Parks, or anything in glass containers other than small jars of baby food or the like. You also shouldn't bring in anything that would need to be heated. You may pack a cooler as long as it's no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, and you'll need to use ice packs, since loose ice isn't allowed.
Taressa, you'll find all of this information and more on the
Park Rules and Regulations page on the Walt Disney World website.
And here's a tip for you: Most
quick-service dining locations in the Theme Parks will provide free cups of ice water upon request. That can help you save a little space in your cooler by not packing bottles of water.
I hope this helps you plan some yummy snack breaks during your Walt Disney World vacation, Taressa! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
