The Grand Floridian Spa, where you can book a variety of services, including massages, facials, nails, makeup, and hair. One option for hair is the
Bounding Braids service that includes one or two Dutch/French braids. For a small fee, you can upgrade the service to include a hair decoration.
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member at the spa who explained that the Bounding Braids only includes additions like ribbon and flowers. He said that they have a large selection of ribbon colors that can be included with your braids. If you want the addition of hair, that would require a different service, the
Magical Makeover, and they provide the colorful hair.
Since it will be July in central Florida, I think getting your hair braided is an excellent idea! You'll be able to stay cool with your hair off your neck and still look cute at the theme parks! Another way to beat the heat is a visit to a
Disney Water Park. Disney Resort hotel guests receive
free water park admission on their check-in day! My teens love the thrills and theming of
Disney's Blizzard Beach, while
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite with the
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool (the largest wave pool in North America!) and a fun drink menu at
Let's Go Slurpin'. Both parks have plenty of exciting attractions and food & beverage options, so you can't go wrong with either!
