Can I bring my own coffee into our resort room to brew? I know they use a special kind of pod, but not sure if it’s one i can purchase Thank you

    Hello, Mindy,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  For me, the morning cannot begin without a cup of coffee. I daydream about when I'll have my next cup of coffee, especially an extra special cup of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Blend of coffee by Joffrey's which is available for guests staying at a Disney Resort.

With the number of resorts and rooms at Walt Disney World, there is more than one type of coffeemaker at them. When we stay at a Disney Vacation Club resort, there are usually drip-type coffee makers. They come with Joffrey's coffee, but you are welcome to bring your own coffee and filters (the flat-based ones) and brew your own coffee. The rooms will also have an assortment of teas, sweeteners, creamers, and disposable cups/lids.

Other resorts have coffee makers that use a k cup or a flat pod.  If you'd like to bring your own k cups or flat pods, you may do so. You can also reach out to Housekeeping at your resort to see if any drip coffee makers would be available to use during your stay.  I can't guarantee their availability, but it could be an option. Many resort stores, especially resorts that have Disney Vacation Club rooms with them, sell coffee and filters.

If you'd like to ask another question to planDisney that asks about the coffee makers at the specific resort you will be staying at, we may be able to share with you a more clear answer about what coffee maker you'll find in your room.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
