Can we bring our own beach chairs to Typhoon Lagoon? Thank you

    Welcome to planDisney, Susan!

I’m so glad you’re taking the time to enjoy Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort. There is an episode of the planDisney Podcast dedicated to the fun you can have outside the theme parks, and water parks are only the beginning!

According to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, folding chairs are not allowed in any theme park, water park, or Disney Springs, so you cannot bring your own beach chairs to Typhoon Lagoon.  My family recently visited Typhoon Lagoon and I can report that there were plenty of beach chairs throughout the park. During my visit, we had our choice of chairs in an open area near the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, or in more secluded areas of the water park. These chairs are first-come, first served.

If you’d like your own private shaded area, I recommend reserving a Beachcomber Shack. A Standard Beachcomber Shack can accommodate up to 10 guests, with cushioned seating for 6 guests, towels, a locker, cold water, and souvenir refillable mugs which you can fill with complimentary soda and water on the day of your Beachcomber Shack rental. There are also Deluxe and Premium Plus options for Beachcomber Shack rentals which have added amenities. You can check availability and reserve your shack on the Walt Disney World Resort website

I hope you have a great time exploring Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Susan! If you have any future questions, I’ll be here to help at planDisney.

    Give me some fin,
