Can we bring outside food/snacks into Disney parks?

Hey there, hi there, Suzette! Thanks for popping in to planDisney with this great question.

The short answer is, yes! You can bring food into the parks. There are some restrictions so it’s good to familiarize yourself with the permitted items list on the Disneyland website.

Would you like to know what you’d typically find in my backpack on a Disneyland Resort day with my girls? Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for protein and a quick pick-me-up between Disney snacks, granola bars, fruit and reusable water bottles so we can use the refilling stations and water fountains throughout the parks.

Save some room to mobile order snacks and meals! I love mobile ordering to avoid waiting in line. Most quick service restaurants offer mobile ordering in the Disneyland mobile app. You can select a pick-up time slot in the future, and once you get close to the restaurant and are within that time slot, they will start preparing your food so it’s fresh. One of my favorite mobile orders is Mickey-shaped Beignets at Mint Julep Bar!

    Wishing you a magical visit!
