Can you bring in outside food/drinks to games at the Wild World of Sports for the Rawlings Salute to Baseball (travel)? Also where is the best place to stay?

    Hello there Greg!

Wow, sounds like the Salute to Baseball is going to be a fun time! My son plays soccer and baseball so a trip down to Disney's Wide World of Sports complex for tournaments is also in our future! As a general rule for Walt Disney World, guests may bring coolers of modest size into all parks. At the Wide World of Sports complex, guests may take a cooler as long as you do not have adult beverages but not into indoor facilities. Food may be consumed in outdoor areas around the complex. Here is a link to the Salute to Baseball which can also help you with any other specific questions about the tournament and also a link to the cooler policy.

The closest resort to Disney's Wide World of Sports is going to be Disney's Art of Animation resort. I do know that they will be using the All-Star Sports resort as a host resort for the tournament and they should be offering special pricing for those attending. My girlfriend I recently stayed at the All-Star Sports resort and we had a great time there.

Thank you so much for your questions! If you have any more please let us know! We are always here to help!
