Can you bring outside food into the water parks? If yes, are there limits?

Hi Elizabeth! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

With your vacation incredibly close, now is the perfect time to begin planning what you need to take into the theme parks with you. As a mom of two little ones, I'm always amazed at how much we need for our day. Snacks are always on my list! Not only does it save money, but it helps to keep our energy up and avoid "hangry" meltdowns!

Guests are allowed to bring in food and beverages with them into the theme parks and there are just a few things that you want to avoid. Prohibited items include: glass containers (small ones like baby food jars are fine), alcoholic beverages, loose ice (you can use ice packs or ice contained inside a zipped bag), and any coolers or bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. You can see the full list of Park Rules at the link I just provided. As long as you don't try to bring any of those items in, you should be all set!

Keep in mind that security will have to check your bag or cooler. I try to place all of our food items in clear containers or bags, so the Cast Members can easily see what is inside. It speeds up the process a little!

I hope this helps, Elizabeth! Enjoy your visit and please let us know if you have any other questions.
