Can you bring in outside food into the park? Example, spam musubis, sandwiches, pizza, soda in can

Hi there, Donna. Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’re here with your great question for us!

It sounds like you have scrumptious food all planned for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. You had me at spam musubi! While our family has never packed musubis for the parks, I’m sure it’s easy to snack on while waiting in line!

Yes, Donna, you most certainly can bring outside food and drinks into the Disneyland Resort theme parks. There are a few restrictions (be sure to check out the official park rules) like no glass containers or alcoholic beverages. Other than the listed prohibited items, feel free to bring in your favorite snacks and drinks. You can also bring a small cooler if needed, but just make sure that it’s 24” x 15” x 18” or smaller and no loose or dry ice. Because there are so many yummy treats to be found throughout the parks, don’t forget to save room in your bellies! After all, Mickey-shaped treats are the best, am I right?

Please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have additional trip-planning questions. We’re all EARS!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
