Hi there, Sharon!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. I love that you are already planning the details of your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Before you leave, I definitely recommend checking out the official
Park Rules for permitted and allowed items at the Disneyland Resort. You are always welcome to bring any prescription or over-the-counter medicines you regularly take into the parks, but I advise leaving them in their original labeled bottles so it is easier for security Cast Members to search your items when you arrive. Keep in mind that you can also always head to
First Aid for many over-the-counter medicines, bandages, and quick remedies if necessary. I think it's really smart to bring your own items, though, if it will help you have peace of mind and a smoother trip!
One big tip for a magical vacation is to
stay hydrated. Between the walking and California sun, this is essential! While over-the-counter medicines are definitely helpful if you become dehydrated, many of my ailments in the park have been related to probably not drinking enough water during the day. I recommend bringing an empty water bottle to refill in the parks as well as stopping by Quick Service restaurants for complimentary water cups. This will help make your vacation practically perfect in every way!
I hope this helps, and please have a Fantasmic day!
