Can we bring onboard listerine, saline solution and other toiletries from a cruise port? We hit the Maui port on day 2 of 15 day cruise and would prefer to pick up these items there rather than packing.

Aloha, Kathleen! You are about a month away from your 15-night South Pacific Cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. What a dream vacation! With so many sea days, you’ll have plenty of time to relax on your journey to Australia.

I don’t see anything on the Prohibited Items list that suggests buying toiletries in port and bringing them on board is prohibited. After exploring Maui, your bags will be scanned, similar to airport security, and you’ll pass through a metal detector. You should be good to go! I have heard that Walmart is not too far from the port and is just a quick taxi or Uber away.

My friend JoVonn recently shared the benefits of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app with you for finding your rotational dining information. The app is also an excellent resource for information about your ports of call. From the weather and the all-aboard time to helpful tips from the crew, it's all available at your fingertips.

Before I go, if you need some packing advice, the Disney Cruise Line website has a helpful list broken down by destination. I hope it’s smooth sailing ahead, Kathleen! If you think of anything else, please point your compass back to planDisney.

    SEAS the adventure!

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
