Can I bring an old refillable mug and reactivate it, or do I need to buy new mugs each trip?

    Hi Cherie!

I'm so happy to hear that you are planning a return visit to Walt Disney World Resort! The Disney Imagineers have been hard at work bringing new experiences to the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs for you to enjoy during your next trip. Have you been brushing up on your Auerbesh in anticipation of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge next month? Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and information about everything you will be able to enjoy during your visit, including new info about the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

The refillable mugs at the Disney Resort hotels are such a nice addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Every morning during a vacation, I wake up early and use our refillable mugs to get coffee for the adults and a morning drink for the kids to help everyone get up and ready for a fun day. Unfortunately, refillable mugs from previous trips cannot be reactivated and used on subsequent trips. This means you will need to purchase new mugs to use for your next vacation. However, I'm happy to tell you that there are a few new mug designs to choose from that are currently available and there were even some Halloween and holiday mugs available last year. So hopefully, you will be able to pick up new mugs in unique designs to add to your collection during your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

Cherie, be sure to come back to see us if we can help you again as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
