Can we bring our old popcorn buckets to the theme parks as our purses? No intention for refills? (Not when you have your personal stuff in there.)

Hi there Aletia, welcome to planDisney!

There’s something about walking into the theme parks and smelling fresh popcorn from one of the popcorn stands - it brings up a flood of memories from visiting the parks when my kids were much smaller! Did you know that more than 5.2 million bags of popcorn are popped every year at Walt Disney World Resort? That’s a lot of popcorn!

I love seeing all of the different styles of popcorn buckets that are released at the parks throughout the year. My daughters love playing with them at home (either by their intended use or not!). Some of them don’t even look like they are popcorn buckets!  Great news, Aletia, you can bring your old popcorn bucket to the parks to wear as an accessory. You mentioned that you’re not intending to refill them so no problem at all!

As you mentioned, if you purchase the souvenir popcorn bucket, you can receive a discount on refills as often as you’d like at the theme parks and Disney Springs. Refills are allowed for the length of your stay. My favorite place to get popcorn is at the Canada pavilion in EPCOT (feels like I’m at home!). The popcorn is maple-flavored

Aletia, I hope I’ve helped answer your question today. If you have any other questions, please visit us at planDisney!
