Hiya Janet,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to answer your question today. I usually travel light when I visit Walt Disney World Resort since I despise carrying more than I need, but with two Mouseketeers under three, I have been spending a lot of time rethinking my strategy. Understanding what is and is not allowed in Theme Parks is key, so I’ve also been researching this topic a lot.
First off, Janet Cast Members have the discretion not to allow any item or object into the Theme Parks, so please keep that in mind. I took a look at the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and chatted with a friendly Cast Member, and there is nothing that prohibits bringing non-alcoholic beer into the Theme Parks. That said, the beverages cannot be in a glass container, and if you are planning to bring them in a cooler, you will need to adhere to the guidelines for size (smaller than 23” long by 15” wide by 18” high) and you cannot use loose or dry ice in the cooler. Again, I cannot guarantee that you will be able to bring in the non-alcoholic beer, but I’m not seeing anything that specifically prohibits it.
Before I let you go, I see you plan to visit during the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, one of my favorite festivals. The menu hasn’t been released yet, but often, you can find non-alcoholic beer and cocktail options at the food booths. Be sure to check out the festival guide when it releases, and you may find a beverage you are excited to try during your visit! I hope this was helpful, Janet. Please come back and see
us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
