Season’s greetings, Kathleen! Welcome back to planDisney.
I’d love to help you pack for your upcoming adventure at sea aboard the
Disney Fantasy. Most nights are listed as “Cruise Casual” attire, but you have a few dress-up opportunities. Formal night is Sunday, and semi-formal night is Thursday. I’m also sailing over
Thanksgiving and can’t wait to see Mickey and Minnie in their holiday attire and experience a traditional Thanksgiving meal that I don’t have to prepare. Maybe I’ll skip the turkey this year and try something else instead!
You will see a
pirate takeover on Tuesday. Some Guests go all out and wear full pirate costumes, while others wear a fun shirt or bandana. There are pirate-themed activities, a special dinner menu, and a spectacular deck party. Thankfully, there’s no scrubbing the deck for you! The outstanding crew has that covered!
You’ll find all the holly jolly fun planned for your
Very Merrytime Cruise on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus to a flurry of “frozen” activities, there’s Christmas cheer in the air for the young and young-at-heart. While not exactly a themed night, many Guests bring matching pajamas or sweaters to take a family picture in front of the sparkling Christmas tree. Disney photographs are on hand to capture these special moments.
As you finalize your
packing list, you may want to take a look at the
Prohibited Items list. One commonly confiscated item is extension cords. If you plan to bring a multi-port charger, make sure It plugs directly into an outlet and has USB output ports only.
I'm thankful you asked your question here at planDisney. I hope your cruise is filled with merry memories.
SEAS the adventure!
