Hi Caitlin, welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear from you and even more excited that your long-awaited
Walt Disney World Resort trip is just around the corner. I'm positive you're going to have an absolute blast!
As a father of two little kids, I understand the importance of always ensuring our kids' safety. While
Disney Water Parks are both fun and safe, and the Disney Lifeguards are highly professional in creating a secure environment for all guests, we can make our kids even more comfortable and safe by providing them with water safety gear they already know and trust.
I have some good news for you. You can find complimentary life jackets available for little kids to use on all Water Parks, but you can also bring your own floaties as long as they are approved by the US Coast Guard / UL. Please note that swim noodles are prohibited at any Water Park per the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. I couldn't confirm whether the Mambobaby float you mentioned was approved by the US Coast Guard. So, if you're planning to bring it with you, it's always best to double-check with them first before you set off on your water park adventure.
Oh, before I forget,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on March 17, 2024. In the meantime, you can still enjoy
Disney's Blizzard Beach, which is currently open until March 16, 2024. But don't worry—all the rules and recommendations apply to both parks, so you'll have lots of fun no matter which one you visit!
Caitlin, I hope you have a fantastic, fun, and safe time with your entire family. If you have any questions,
please let us know. It's always a great pleasure to help you.
Cheers
Nilson
