Welcome aboard, Carly!
Thanks so much for your question! I totally understand that it's nice to bring a few amenities from home for your cruise. Let's get packing, shall we?
Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older are currently allowed to bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or sparkling wine (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. You are required to keep these beverages in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage. Guests are also welcome to bring sealed bottled water, but it also has to be carried on with you. You can read more about what Guests are able to bring on their cruises on the
Prohibited and Restricted Items List.Because carrying around a case of bottled water until your room is ready sounds like a lot of work my family usually brings refillable water bottles with us. By using the complimentary beverage stations on the pool deck it's pretty easy to keep a cool drink handy! Another option is to purchase bottled water ahead of time through
Onboard Gifts and have it delivered to your stateroom.
Speaking of packing, have you checked out these
helpful lists for what to bring on your cruise? I always look through the list for our itinerary just to see if I've forgotten anything that would be helpful. I also try to remember that there are options for doing
laundry on the ships so that I don't overpack...at least not as much!
Your cruise is just beyond the horizon, Carly! Have a fantastic time!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
