Hiya, Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! Hip, hip, hooray! Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short weeks away. I am sure that your entire Ohana is getting excited as you finalize all the last-minute details and count down the days until your adventure begins. This is such a great question. I am sad to report
that shopping carts, along with wagons are not allowed in the theme parks. I am sure that this is a bit of a bummer to hear. But Hakuna Matata, friend! You can still utilize a stroller in any of the four theme parks. If you are traveling with a young Mouseketeer this is a better option for safety reasons, and you can still stow plenty of your park essentials. You can even
rent a stroller after you arrive if you prefer not to travel with your own. Pro tip: Tie a colorful ribbon or scarf to your stroller so it is easier to spot when parked among the many other strollers that make their way down Main Street U.S.A. each day.
Now if you are planning an epic shopping adventure or just need to store more than a few essentials because you are a park open-to-close crew, I totally understand the need for extra cargo space. Even a great backpack can only hold so much and gets quite heavy after a long (and often hot) day in the parks. I personally love the option of renting a locker for the days when I know I won't be heading back to my resort for a mid-day break. You can
rent lockers in any of the four theme parks and even at the water parks. There are standard and large options available, and the rental is good for the entire day. This is a great storage option to keep everything you need close by, without the feeling like you're going to fall over backward from carrying it all with you!
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
