Hello, dear Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Before I tell you all about other beautiful Moderate Disney Resort Hotels you can consider, let me share my experience with the
Disney Vacation Club. My husband and I
became members precisely because we visit every two or three years, and we wanted to stay at Deluxe Disney Resort Hotels but keeping our budgets under control.
After crunching the numbers, we discovered that if we always stayed at Studio Villas, the Disney Vacation Club would allow us to stay at the Deluxe Hotels while keeping our budgets locked at Moderate Hotel prices. This logic works because
you can bank and borrow your Disney Vacation Club points to visit every two to three years, so you don't have to buy all the points you'll need for each stay.
Since you love Disney's Contemporary Resort, you could consider buying points at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort or even at the surreal
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows (where I own
my beloved points).
But if the Disney Vacation Club is not perfect for your family
yet, I'm thrilled to tell you that the Moderates offer you a vast pool of choices.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is an excellent choice within this category because it gives you access to the
Disney Skyliner. Like Disney's Contemporary Resort, this Moderate offers fast transportation to two Theme Parks:
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, on the other hand, has a not-so-secret weapon: Gran Destino Tower. The rooms there are fantastic and my favorite in this category. Believe it or not, I rank these rooms above some of the options found in some Deluxe Hotels.
These rooms usually have very competitive prices, and the food offerings at Grand Destino Tower are certainly something to take into consideration when looking for a room at a Moderate Hotel.
Finally, let me suggest my dear
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This gorgeous little gem offers boat transportation to
Disney Springs and has a luxury feel to it mostly because it's one of the smallest hotels on property. The manicured lawns are gorgeous, and a
Water View room there is undoubtedly a luxurious treat!
I hope that these options help you find
your best way to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in the future, Jessica! If you need more advice, please, don't hesitate to come back. It's a pleasure to have you here!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
