Hi Kole,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Visiting
Walt Disney World during the holiday season is truly something special. From the lights along Main Street, U.S.A. to the festive music at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there’s holiday cheer around every corner. And if you're thinking about attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you're in for an unforgettable evening of snowfall, hot cocoa, and character greetings in their holiday best!
To answer your question, yes, you can absolutely bring your insulin and necessary diabetic supplies into the parks. Walt Disney World is well-versed in accommodating Guests with medical needs. In fact, insulin, syringes, and other medically necessary items are not on the
list of prohibited items. Just be sure your supplies are properly labeled and stored. If you need to keep your insulin cool, you’re welcome to bring a small soft-sided cooler with reusable ice packs (loose ice and dry ice aren’t permitted).
Each park also offers a conveniently located
First Aid Center, which can be a great place to store medication or stop by if you need a moment to rest or recheck your supplies. The Cast Members there are incredibly helpful and discreet, so don’t hesitate to use those resources.
Kole, I hope this helps you feel confident and excited about your upcoming trip. If you have any more questions, from tips on navigating the parks to where to find the best sugar-free treats,
please come back and ask. I'm here to help make your vacation planning smooth and stress-free.
See you real soon!
Brent
