Hello, Christopher,
Yes, please feel free to take along any necessary medications with you into the parks, including insulin.
Property rules at the Disneyland Resort indicate only a few items that are prohibited in the parks. Among those prohibited items are glass containers. But small containers, such as for baby food or vials for medicine, are OK.
First Aid locations are available in both parks. They can provide refrigerated storage for medications as well as other small first aid services. First Aid locations may also provide a safe, quiet place for injecting medicine and disposing of hypodermic needles.
Coco the monkey, a friend of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and all their pals
has type 1 diabetes. So the whole gang is familiar with how to support guests with special medical needs. You are welcome to
take your own food and drink with you to have fixed, known carb counts already. Or you may also enjoy many of the
delicious and healthy dining options at the theme parks. To learn the right carb contents of foods at the Disneyland Resort, nutritional information may be requested at each
dining location.
Have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Christopher!
