Greetings, Yvette, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring an insulated backpack into the
Disneyland Resort theme parks, so long as it’s no larger than 24” long by 15” wide by 18” high. Also, I recommend packing a re-usable ice pack since
loose ice isn’t allowed in coolers or backpacks. Your bag will be checked at a Security Checkpoint before you head in to the Disneyland Resort. As the mom of three little Mouseketeers, I also enjoy packing snacks for my children to enjoy throughout our busy Disney days. I typically pack granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, food pouches, and their waters. I also like to add a special treat to my backpack to help us get through longer waits – I’ve found that the Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies do the trick! These delicious Mickey-shaped gummies can be purchased throughout the Resort, including the
Disneyland Resort Hotels,
Downtown Disney District, and inside both theme parks.
Since you’re traveling with two
youngsters, I also recommend checking out the helpful
Baby Care Centers, located inside each theme park. These Centers are the ideal spot to nurse, feed, or change your little ones if needed. You can also purchase baby-care necessities in the handy vending machines. There are even tiny toilets for potty training, should you need them. Don’t forget to ask for a Mickey sticker on the way out to reward your little ones for a job well done!
Last, but certainly not least, I recommend downloading the
Disneyland app, which is my favorite handy helper in the theme parks. I use it to check attraction wait times, find our favorite Characters, make
dining reservations, and
mobile order our food ahead of time. Mobile ordering has been a game-changer for my family, and has saved me from many toddler meltdowns!
I hope this information helps, Yvette. Wishing you and your family many magical adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!
