I would like to bring a hiking backpack to carry my VERY antsy 20 month old to make the wait in line easier. Will they allow you to wear a hiking backpack through line? Can I just place it by my feet during the rides?? Thanks in advance!!

    Hi Beth!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

It really comes down to the size of the backpack carrier and whether it will fit in the ride vehicle. There is really no place to leave personal items just before you board a ride vehicle and the entrance and exit points are not always at the same location.

However, I have seen a lot of parents using carriers at Walt Disney World through the years, and that includes using them in lines. Unless you have a very large one you should be fine!

By the way, Walt Disney World is huge so many parents who use a baby carrier also use a stroller. I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
