Hello, Nolan! Thanks for sailing our way at planDisney. Welcome aboard!
I'd be happy to get you in shipshape condition as you prepare for a sailing with Disney Cruise Line. I'm glad you thought to ask your question, because as it turns out,
hairdryers must be 110V/1500 watts max or 220V/2000 watts max to be approved for use onboard. Fortunately, each ship is equipped with a hairdryer in the stateroom for your use. You can leave the hair dryer at home and have some extra room in your suitcase for souvenirs!
As you pack for your upcoming adventure, here is a
packing checklist to reference. I would also like to encourage you to download (or update to the latest version of) the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before heading on vacation. The Navigator app will be your guide to every ounce of fun happening onboard, as well as every delicious morsel of food! You'll be able to reference the Daily Activity Schedule as well as dining menus for all locations (Room Service too!) once you are on the ship and using the app.
One of my favorite features of the app is the ability to book a placeholder for a future cruise. You can take advantage of a fully refundable
Onboard Offer in the app, but only while you are sailing. If you think you'd like to cruise with Captains Mickey and Minnie again in the next two years, it's definitely an offer worth your time.
I'm wishing you a most magical vacation! Bon Voyage!
