Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cathy. We're glad to see you again!
I'm so happy to hear you'll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with your grandchildren this December. You are sure to have a
grand adventure! Whether to bring or rent a double stroller is really a matter of personal preference. My family opts to bring our own for a few reasons. We live in Pennsylvania, so we always fly to Orlando and we've found the stroller to be really useful in the airports. Our kids have somewhere to sit while we're getting through long security lines, and even somewhere to nap if our flight is delayed! During our vacation, we like that we have our stroller while traveling back and forth between the theme parks and our Resort hotel. The walk from the bus stop to the theme park entrance can sometimes be a bit long and little legs can tire easily. One of our kids inevitably falls asleep on the bus or monorail at the end of the day, and we're always glad we can place them in the stroller for the walk back to our room (we're tired too)! If we rented a stroller from the theme parks, we'd be required to return it upon exiting. Some people certainly prefer to do that! I suggest sitting down with your family and discussing the unique needs of your grandchildren to determine whether bringing your own stroller or renting one will be the best option while you're traveling together.
Your family is going to have the most magical
holiday visit with those precious little ones in tow. Be sure to visit Disney Springs to see
Santa Claus!
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
