We want to bring our grand daughter who has celiac. Is there any place she can eat that will cook her food separate at counter service or table service? Thank you so much.

    Hi Veta:

Disney World restaurants are able to accommodate many food allergies or intolerances.  In fact, outside of your own home, I imagine Disney World is the place to dine with food allergies.

I would start by looking at Disney's Special Dietary Requests page for more detailed information, and you'll see that Disney World has gluten and wheat allergies covered at many locations.  At counter service restaurants, let the Cast Member taking your order know in advance about allergies.  If dining in a sit-down restaurant, just note the allergy to the reservationist.  You should also inform your server about any allergies as you are seated at the restaurant.  You are also free to ask to speak to the chef or manager when you arrive at the restaurant.  For more information, contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

For snacks, Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom and Sunshine Seasons, among other locations, tend of offer great gluten free snack options.

    Enjoy your vacation.
