Can we bring gopros into the parks with either a head strap or body strap?

    Hi Inara!

There is often a lot of discussion about what items are Restricted inside the Disney parks. It didn’t take long for them to prohibit the selfie sticks once they became popular. During parades and shows it became a sea of sticks in the air blocking many guests from views. These items also became a hazard of being flown through the air on rides that were conducive to speed and sharp turns.

Right now the GoPro cameras are not listed as being restricted. This can change at any time. Many attractions do not allow photography and you would not be allowed to wear one and other rides they might ask you to remove them for safety reasons. Wrist or chest bands are more likely to be allowed on attractions but understand that the pictures you get from this angle might not be worth the effort.

Understanding your limitations with the GoPro in the parks will help you decide if it is worth bringing this item along with you. I understand the fun they can be as we often have someone in our family wear one on their ski helmet during vacations. But I am a realist too when it comes to the Disney parks and will always say bring less for a better and enjoyable experience.
