Hello there, Ivan!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us a wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be making your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth
tomorrow! I bet you can hardly wait to drive under that magical archway as you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Ivan, as you gear up for your enchanting escape, it's time to consider what types of items are permitted into the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. In times like these, I always refer to the Walt Disney World
property rules which include a list of prohibited items. You'll be happy to know that there's currently no restriction on the brand of wrist strap used for recording devices! It is important to note, however, that selfie sticks, hand-held extension poles for cameras, or tripods that extend over 6' are not permitted. Additionally, filming inside the Walt Disney World Resort must not be for unapproved commercial uses. Alternatively, filming to capture the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort for personal use (and memories!) is approved - and a fantastic idea!
When you're not behind the camera, try to get in the picture, Ivan! You'll find countless
Disney PhotoPass Service photographers located throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, ready to capture your vacation memories on camera. Many
special offers for Guests traveling from the U.K. include
Memory Maker, so it's possible you'll receive complimentary downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass Service media, depending on your booking type. Regardless, it's a phenomenal way to get everyone in the picture!
Ivan, I hope you've found this information useful as you count down the minutes until your exciting getaway. I'm wishing you a holiday filled with magical memories! If you have any additional questions before or during your trip, you can always revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
