Can I bring a glass of my own wine to dinner or an opened bottle on the fantasy

Ahoy there, Susan! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Your cruise on the stunning Disney Fantasy is fast approaching, and it’s exciting that you’re already thinking about getting that packing list together!

I’d be happy to share the Alcohol Policy on board Disney Cruise Line, as it is the same across the fleet, including on board the Disney Fantasy.

According to the current Disney Cruise Line Alcohol Policy, all guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board. These must be carried in your carry-on baggage, not in your checked baggage, and must be sealed in their original, unopened containers. The nice thing is that this doesn’t just apply to embarkation day, but also on all port days after that! So, if you’re at a port of call and see a favorite wine that you would like to bring back on board, you absolutely can, provided that it meets the Alcohol Policy

While alcohol brought on board can’t be consumed in public lounges or public areas, you can bring an unopened bottle to enjoy at dinner, where there will be a $29 corking fee to open it. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. If you’re trying to avoid the corking fee, I suggest asking your stateroom host for a corkscrew and glasses so that you can enjoy it in the beautiful splendor of your stateroom. So while you can’t bring a glass of wine to your Animator’s Palate dinner (my favorite restaurant on board the Disney Fantasy!), you can bring your favorite bottle of unopened wine that’s 750 ml or less, or enjoy it in your stateroom beforehand.

While you’re getting that packing list together, I’d also like to suggest taking a peek at this handy Disney Cruise Packing List. I know I always find a few things on there that I might have missed, and I become so grateful that I looked at it later on!

Susan, I hope this helped offer clarification. I wish you the most amazing memories on board the Disney Fantasy! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
