    Can I bring food and water in a backpack into the theme park? was a question I see asked alot on your Moms Panel and the answer frequently received was yes. However as i asked an Disney employee this very same question and the official response was NO.

    Hey, George! From one papa bear to another, you bet you can bring in food and water to the theme parks. I don't thinking my family would get 10 feet from the door at our resort without food and water. The echolalic "Can I have a snack? Can I have a snack? Can I have a snack?" would be the end of me if I were to come up empty handed from the get-go.

    In addition to bringing our own juice boxes, we usually bring an empty water bottle or two into the parks. You can get free ice water at any snack/quick service location that has fountain drinks, in the event that would save you some space and weight in your backpack.
