Can we bring food, snacks and water for kids and I. ?

Greetings, Richard! Your Disneyland Resort vacation is almost here, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for you! It’s an exciting time in the parks right now, with Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration – I love the new nighttime extravaganza, Mickey’s Mix Magic!

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the theme parks, with the exception of a few items, like glass containers and alcoholic beverages. However, a small cooler or backpack containing your food and drinks should be alright. Just keep in mind that coolers can’t be larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. Loose or dry ice isn't permitted in these containers, though bags of ice or re-usable ice packs are allowed. You can always refer to the Disneyland Resort Rules with any additional questions.

I recommend stopping by the picnic area, located just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, where you can snack on your own food and beverages in a comfortable outdoor setting. You can even store your items in a nearby locker if you choose!

Lastly, if your family gets thirsty in the warm California sun, be sure to ask for a complimentary cup of lidded ice water at any quick-service restaurant. This may save you from lugging around heavy water bottles all day!

    Wishing you Disney magic!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
